Yesterday the 11th we had SW winds 20-25 knots so we fished the back waters of Ocean City for Striped Bass and Perch. It was a full moon and I generally do not like the day before, on a full moon or day after but we did well, 2 striped bass, and 11 white perch.
Today we wrecked fished for Tautog / Taug and it was slow tauging, probably do to the full moon yesterday. Even the dog sharks were not biting like normal. We did land a nice 3+ pound lobster.
Friday will be our next scheduled trip.

83 gentlemen contacted me for a private trip for just him self. By his request it had to be all catch and release no taking fish from the sea and only on spinning rods. He has caught many stripers in his life time 15-20lbs largest striped were 27 to 30″ range.
The 2 of us left the dock around 7:00 am and did not take long to finds the fish on top of the water. First fish he pulled the hook, second fish again pulled the hook, third fish line came tight and it was about 34″ which was his biggest but I knew there were bigger ones out there so we kept at it. Finally he hooked a beautiful fish that took him a good 15 minuted to land. It measured 42″ and 36lbs. Check that one off your bucket list. Good times!
