No Closure Stripped Bass 2026
Status quo approved by a 13-3 vote.
The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission
(ASMFC) and its Striped Bass Management Board have officially cast their vote this morning on Addendum III to Amendment 7 to the striped bass fishery management plan. Status Quo, no catch reductions in 2026.
But, the vote also includes establishing a new Working Group to look at the future health and management of striped bass “in consideration of severely reduced reproductive success in the Chesapeake Bay.”

Tuna Fishing
Tuna Fishing! It’s been a roller coaster kind of Summer with the early season being really good catching our biggest Bluefin Tuna of this year at about 500lbs. Right now it’s looking really good and expect it to be good thru October. Yesterday we fought approximately 200lb range Bigeye Tuna, Wahoo and some Yellowfin Tuna. Good Times!
